About Course

The HOTEL KNX course is a comprehensive technical training program focused on the integration of KNX technology in modern hotel environments. It covers both theoretical concepts and practical implementations of KNX and GRMS (Guest Room Management System) to achieve energy-efficient, intelligent hotel automation.

Participants will learn how to design, install, and program KNX-based systems in various hotel zones including guest rooms, corridors, public areas, façades, HVAC systems, lighting (including DALI), access control, and integration with Building Management Systems (BMS).

What Will You Learn?

  • By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
  • Understand the KNX system architecture and communication principles.
  • Design KNX and GRMS systems for various hotel types (Type 1, 2, 3, 4).
  • Use ETS6 software to program and configure KNX devices.
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, HVAC, lighting, and curtain control in hotel rooms.
  • Implement DALI lighting systems and connect them to KNX networks.
  • Configure smart energy-saving systems using card holders and room controllers.
  • Integrate GRMS with BMS platforms for full hotel automation and monitoring.
  • Deliver complete KNX hotel automation projects from planning to deployment.
